Generation Amazing announced Reclaim Childhood as the Sport for Refugees Award winner at the Beyond Sport Global Awards in New York City. The Beyond Sport Global Awards celebrate organizations and individuals that use sport to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In its early years, Beyond Sport nominated Reclaim Childhood for Best New Project.
Almost a decade later, we are honored to be recognized once again in this field.
The Nansen Refugee Award and the Sports for Refugees Award simultaneously recognize both Reclaim Childhood's work and the reality that the refugee crisis remains one of the most pressing issues of our time. We remain committed to continuing - and growing - the programming that Reclaim Childhood offers, starting with getting back on the field this past week to kick off our fall season.
